I count it a privilege to be used by our Lord to help others.  In our fast-paced society, it seems as though small-talk is often as deep as we get even with other believers. I appreciate having the opportunity to get to know people on a deeper level and do not take it lightly when another human being shares personal and difficult information about him or herself with me.  I do not have all the answers but I’m so thankful to know our Lord, and He does!  We all go through difficult times in this life, and I am thankful to have a means in which I can use the experiences I have had in life to help others.  I strive to fulfill II Corinthians 1:3,4 which says,  “Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, 4 who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.”
